Pam Powells salad girl Green Apple maple and blu salad

The Weekly Dish is a huge fan of Pam Powells Salad Girl dressings and her cookbook. Here is a festive Thanksgiving recipe

Amablu & Green Apple Salad
with Apple & Maple Vinaigrette
Serves 8
Hazelnuts, also called filberts or cobnuts, add a nice toasty crunch and flavor to this
recipe, while the crumbled local Amablu cheese from Faribault Minnesota contributes a
welcome creaminess.
7 oz. baby spinach
1/4 cup chopped fine red onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
4 large Granny Smith apples (or other green apple
variety) cut in bite sized slices.
2 c. seedless green grapes
1⁄2 c. roasted hazelnuts gently crumbled in food processor
4 oz. Amablu Saint Petes Select Blue Cheese (Faibault Minnesota)
2 pretty sprigs of fresh basil for garnish
1: 1/2 cup Salad Girl Crisp Apple Maple Organic Salad Dressing
2: Prepare Produce. Wash and dry spinach, and
set aside. Wash and dry apples. Cut the apple into
thin bite sized slices.
3: Assemble Salad: Just before serving: In a large bowl gently toss greens, onion and basil, cheese, apples, grapes and hazelnuts together and arrange upon separate salad plates for a first course serving or Arrange greens upon
a pretty platter with servng tongs for buffet or family style service.
