Juicy Turkey Lucys on Thanksgiving? Why NOT!
The 5-8 Club’s Turkey Lucy
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
3 slices of American cheese singles (1 oz each)
2 tsp of craisins (dried cranberries)
1/4 teaspoon of green onions
Directions:
Take the ground turkey and separate it into 4 equal parts (about a 1/4lb each). Make into four patties. Fold 3, 1 oz slices of American cheese in half twice (this makes 2 Juicy Lucys). Separate and put 1.5 slices of American cheese into the middle of two of your turkey patties. Cover the cheese with 1 teaspoon of dried cranberries and a pinch of green onions per patty. Take your two remaining patties and put them on top of the patties with cheese. Lightly pinch around the edges to join the two patties. Cook the patties for 8-10 minutes on each side or until cooked through. After they are cooked, lightly cover with gravy and serve on a hamburger bun.
