Printz.com, a Minneapolis based printing and direct mail company, has a position available for a print and directmail sales person. Printz.com is in one of several brands owned by Hammer Direct. Other brands we own that specialize in printing and direct mail products include Directmailtools.com, PostcardBuilder.com and OurPrinter.com. We are looking for someone to prospect and call on Twin Cities businesses and sell them short run printing projects like brochures, business cards, mailing lists and direct mail postcard and letter mailings. The ideal candidate will have sales experience, previous print sales or direct mail sales experience is a plus. You should have a great phone personality and the ability to work with a client to develop a print or direct mail strategy and list purchase. You will be given a base of clients and expected to develop new business through cold calling and client visits. You will need to be detail oriented and organized. We will train on the specific products and mailing programs that we offer but a natural problem solver who likes to create marketing solutions and solve puzzles would be ideal. Experience with graphic design is a plus. All candidates should be proficient with computers and know the Office suite of products. Working knowledge of Excel or Access databases would be helpful.$26,400 base plus 6% commission on print sales – 10% on new business sales. First year compensation would be around $35,000 plus. Full medical and dental benefits plus 401K. Minneapolis location.
