has a position available for a Full Time chat marketing specialist. The chat
marketing specialist will work our direct mail websites www.Postcardbuilder.com and www.Directmailtools.com,
to create leads and sales opportunities
for our inside sales staff.
You will be expected to chat with customers visiting our web
sites and answer basic customer service questions while assessing opportunities
for larger relationships and consultative sales opportunities you will be a member of our 12 person direct mail sales
team, which falls under The Bernard Group’s small format printing umbrella. The
Bernard Group is a 450 person 100% Employee Owned visual communications company
that specializes in large and small format digital print and direct mail
solutions.
The idea candidate for this position is self-directed, entreprenurial and is very comfortable with technology, able to think quickly on their feet and can consult with their clients in a way that makes the clients want more information. This is a very fast paced job. You should be an excellent written communicator, a fast accurate typer and be able to build rapport with your clients online. You should be good at basic math and feel comfortable with Excel as you will be working with data and producing quotes for clients so attention to detail is important. College graduates with previous sales and marketing experience are a great fit for this opportunity as well as account managers or people in administrative roles that are looking to have more client interaction.

Most of our clients are small-medium size businesses and we walk
them through the best solutions and strategies for their industries in direct
mail. We will train you on the types of direct mail marketing solutions but you
should be a natural problem solver, with a sales aptitude who likes to create
marketing solutions and has experience in consultative selling and helping
people strategically work through their marketing challenges. Typical
industries you will be working in include, Insurance, Home Improvement,
Medical, Dental, Real Estate, Retail and Services.
