Sales and Marketing Assistant
Areas of Knowledge As Sales and Marketing Assistant you will need to know the following:
• Microsoft Office and Excel
• Good communication skills – phone, e-mail, and in person
• Ability to learn new software’s
• Social Media Websites
Daily Work Description On a daily basis you will be responsible for maintaining and delivering lead sources, mailing samples, answering phones, working with “registered customer” leads, managing the social media strategy, and managing the customer contact strategy. Other responsibilities may be added based on need and abilities.
Marketing Leads Leads come in through a variety of sources. You will be responsible for adding the leads to Goldmine and a tracking spreadsheet, then distributing the leads to the appropriate Mailing Specialist. Leads are “perishable” and must be entered immediately.
Registered Customers You will be responsible for DirectMailTools leads that are “registered.” Registered customers are typically those that use the online list system and either save or purchase a list. You will follow up with these leads using our sales processes. You will be paid commission on leads that become Printing and Mailing customers. Commission is paid at 6% of print sales. List purchases and Postage are not included in commissions.
Phones Online list system questions will be directed to your phone. You will be responsible for helping customers through the online list system and answering any questions. Your goal will be to both help the customer through the system and to upsell them to our printing and mailing services.
Managing Customer Contact Strategy Customers and prospects are sent e-mails and mailings on a monthly basis. You will be responsible for managing this process and making sure communications are completed.

Social Media Printz, PostcardBuilder and DMT should all have social media components and a social media strategy. You will be responsible for organizing and implementing the strategy. You will also manage the strategy on an ongoing basis.
Compensation and Hours • $10-12 hr – Full Time + Commission
• 8:30 to 5 with 30 minutes for lunch
